I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! Are they comfortable?
Very comfy, and only took a few hours to break in..
How durable are they?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid. Thanks to the vintage look, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They have a hidden arch lift that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Not to mention, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Yes! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you find a style that suits you. Mine have pink glitter, but a neutral version would also go with everything.
